Integrity Policy
FanBants Fraud Detection, Account Suspension & Refund Policy (“Integrity Policy”)
Effective date: Sep 1, 2025
This Policy explains how we protect market integrity, when and how we investigate, what temporary measures we may take (freezes/limits), and how refunds or forfeitures are handled. It applies to all Services, including FanBants Fantasy and Gist Market.

1) Policy Objectives
-
Keep contests/markets fair, transparent, and compliant.
-
Detect and deter fraud, collusion, market manipulation, identity abuse, chargeback abuse, and conflicts of interest.
-
Support responsible gaming and user protection obligations.

2) Triggers for Review
We may initiate reviews based on one or more of the following (examples, not an exhaustive list):
-
Account signals: multiple accounts, unusual device/IP patterns, VPN/proxy abuse, identity mismatch, third-party control of an account.
-
Transaction signals: sharp deposit spikes, rapid buy/sell cycles to game bonuses/fees, suspected money-movement or chargeback risk.
-
Market-integrity signals: coordinated trading/entry behavior, suspected collusion or market manipulation (e.g., wash trading, spoofing, or creating artificial price action).
-
Conflicts of interest: involvement with a competing prediction platform, event officials/insiders, or anyone with non-public outcome information relevant to a Game/Market.
-
Responsible-gaming signals: harmful or unsustainable behavioural patterns, including excessive wagering over a short period relative to typical activity, loss-chasing, or repeated failed affordability checks.
-
Rule/policy breaches reported by other users or partners.
Note: We intentionally do not hard-code numeric thresholds here; we maintain internal, dynamic risk criteria. We may publish guidance periodically but reserve the right to update thresholds without prior notice.

3) Actions During Review
While we investigate, we may apply one or more of the following:
-
Temporary suspension (full or partial),
-
Balance freeze on all or part of wallet funds,
-
Deposit, entry, or withdrawal limits,
-
Document requests: KYC (government ID), Proof of Address, and Source-of-Funds (e.g., bank statements, payslips).
-
Communication: We aim to acknowledge your case promptly and request any needed documents with a submission window (e.g., 7 business days). Missing the deadline may delay or negatively affect outcomes.

4) Outcomes
Depending on findings, we may:
-
Reinstate your account (with or without ongoing limits).
-
Impose limits (per-market or global), or feature restrictions.
-
Void some or all entries/trades associated with a violation (see Section 5).
-
Refund legitimate Entry/Position Amount tied to voided entries/trades.
-
Forfeit illicit or policy-breaching gains (including associated “winnings” or arbitrage profits).
-
Permanently close the account and restrict re-registration.
-
Report suspected unlawful activity to payment partners or authorities.
We’ll notify you of the decision unless doing so would compromise an ongoing investigation or legal process.

5) Voids, Refunds & Forfeitures (How Money Is Treated)
Core principles (aligned with the Terms):
-
Payments are generally final.
-
If a trade/entry is voided under this Policy, your legitimate Entry/Position Amount may be refunded.
-
Winnings or gains derived from a breach (fraud, manipulation, conflict of interest, etc.) are forfeited.
-
If both legitimate and illegitimate activity are intertwined, we will use reasonable methods to separate and return only the legitimate Entry/Position Amount.
-
We may freeze or set off funds to cover chargebacks, payment reversals, promotional abuse, or amounts improperly obtained.
-
Withdrawals can be delayed or denied while a review is pending.

Examples (illustrative only):
-
Market manipulation detected → affected trades are voided; your Entry/Position Amount on those trades is refunded; any profit is forfeited.
-
Conflict of interest (e.g., working on a competing platform influencing similar markets) → entries/trades may be voided, profits forfeited, Entry/Position Amount refunded, account closed.
-
Responsible-gaming intervention (no policy breach) → we may limit activity or require affordability checks; if a contest/market is cancelled, Entry/Position Amount is returned.

6) Responsible Gaming
-
Tools: self-exclusion, time-outs, and voluntary limits.
-
Interventions: If we detect potentially harmful behavior, we may set stricter limits or exclude an account.
-
Documentation: We may request affordability evidence where spending materially increases over a short period.

7) Appeals
You may reply to our decision within 5 business days if you believe we missed material facts. Provide any supporting documents in your appeal. We’ll conduct a final review and respond with a final decision.

8) Record-Keeping & Data
We keep investigation records as permitted by law and our Privacy Policy. Some actions may be logged for audit and regulatory purposes.

9) Policy Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date will be posted. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-product notice.
