In Liverpool's recent 2-0 victory over Bournemouth, Salah was instrumental, scoring both goals, including a first-half penalty. This performance not only secured three points for Liverpool but also extended their unbeaten league run to 19 games, placing them six points clear at the top of the table.

In the upcoming Gameweek 25, Liverpool is set to face Everton. Given Salah's current form, he will be a key player to watch, with the potential to significantly impact the match and further solidify his standing in the power rankings.

Erling Haaland's consistent goal-scoring prowess has kept him at the forefront of the Premier League power rankings going into Gameweek 25. In Manchester City's recent 5-1 defeat to Arsenal, Haaland provided a glimmer of hope for his team by scoring a brilliant header to equalize in the first half. Despite the team's overall struggles, Haaland's individual performance stood out, underscoring his importance to the squad.

Looking ahead to Gameweek 25, Manchester City will face Newcastle United on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Haaland will be a key player as City looks to bounce back from their defeat. His physical presence and goal-scoring instincts will be crucial against Newcastle’s defense, and he will be expected to lead the attack as City continues their title challenge.

Cole Palmer’s strong performances have ensured he retains third place in the Premier League power rankings. In Chelsea’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over West Ham United on February 3, 2025, he played a decisive role, capitalizing on an error by Aaron Wan-Bissaka to score the match-winning goal.

Chelsea now prepares for a league encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion. Given Palmer’s current run of form, he is expected to be a key figure, with his influence potentially shaping the outcome of the contest.

In Crystal Palace's commanding 2-0 triumph over Manchester United at Old Trafford, Mateta stole the show, finding the net twice in the second half. His sharp finishing and ability to capitalize on defensive lapses were instrumental in securing the victory.

Crystal Palace now turn their attention to a home clash against Everton. With Mateta in top form, he is expected to be a driving force in the contest. His recent performances indicate he will be a major concern for Everton’s backline, and supporters will be eager to see if his goal-scoring spree continues.

Last ranking: Unranked

Chris Wood’s incredible form has seen him break into the Premier League power rankings, securing the fourth spot heading into Gameweek 25. He was the star of Nottingham Forest’s stunning 7-0 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion on February 1, 2025, delivering a brilliant hat-trick. This milestone made him the first Forest player to score three goals in a home match since 1987. With 17 goals to his name this season, he now trails only Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race.

Attention now turns to Forest’s next league challenge in Gameweek 25. Wood’s sharp finishing and attacking presence will be key as the team looks to build on their momentum and strengthen their standing among the league’s top sides.

  1. Trent Alexander Arnold

Last ranking: 7th

Trent Alexander-Arnold's impressive displays have seen him climb from seventh to sixth in the Premier League power rankings as Gameweek 25 nears. In Liverpool’s recent 2-0 win over Bournemouth, he demonstrated both defensive resilience and attacking intent, playing a crucial part in keeping a clean sheet while also influencing play going forward.

During that match, however, he suffered a thigh injury that ruled him out of the League Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool boss Arne Slot confirmed that Alexander-Arnold is currently in rehabilitation and is unlikely to feature in the FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle. The club remains optimistic that he could return in time for their Premier League showdown with Everton.

If fit, Alexander-Arnold’s creativity and pinpoint deliveries will be essential in unlocking Everton’s defense. His ability to provide chances from both open play and set-pieces could make a significant impact in Liverpool’s attacking approach.

  1. Cody Gakpo

Last ranking: 8th

Cody Gakpo's impressive performances have elevated him from eighth to seventh in the Premier League power rankings as we approach Gameweek 25. In the 2-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth, Gakpo played a pivotal role, contributing significantly to the team's attacking dynamics.

Following this, Gakpo continued his fine form by scoring the opening goal in Liverpool's 4-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup semi-final. His early goal set the tone for the match, showcasing his clinical finishing and ability to perform in high-stakes games.

Liverpool's next Premier League fixture is the Merseyside derby against Everton on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Given Gakpo's current form, he is expected to be a key player in this matchup. His versatility and goal-scoring prowess will be vital as Liverpool aims to secure a crucial victory over their city rivals.

  1. Bryan Mbeumo

Last ranking: 5th

Bryan Mbeumo has dropped from fifth to eighth in the Premier League power rankings as Gameweek 25 draws near. In Brentford’s 2-0 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspur, he found it difficult to influence the game, with Spurs’ backline successfully shutting down his attacking movements.

Despite this setback, Mbeumo remains a vital figure for Brentford, having found the net 14 times this season—placing him among the league’s most prolific scorers.

Brentford now prepares for a clash with West Ham United, where Mbeumo will be determined to rediscover his sharpness and play a decisive role in his team’s attacking efforts.

  1. Justin Kluivert

Last ranking: 6th

Dropping 3 spots from last week’s rankings, Justin Kluivert is the penultimate player on this week’s power rankings.

Although this might seem a bit harsh considering Kluivert was the player of the month for January, recall that our rankings are based largely on performances in recent game weeks.

Justin Kluivert's recent performances have seen him move from sixth to ninth in the Premier League power rankings as we approach Gameweek 25. In January, Kluivert was in exceptional form, scoring five goals and providing two assists in four matches, contributing significantly to Bournemouth's unbeaten run during that period. His standout performance included a hat-trick in a 4-1 victory over Newcastle United at St James' Park.

However, in Bournemouth's recent 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool on February 1, 2025, Kluivert was unable to make a significant impact, as Liverpool's defense effectively contained his attacking threats.

Bournemouth's next Premier League fixture is against Southampton. Kluivert will aim to regain his form and contribute significantly to his team's attacking efforts in this matchup.

  1. Kai Haverts

Last ranking: Unranked

Kai Havertz’ standout performances have earned him a place in the Premier League power rankings, securing the ninth spot as Gameweek 25 approaches. In Arsenal’s dominant 5-1 win over Manchester City, he played a significant role in the team’s attacking fluidity, using his creativity and precise passing to unlock City’s defense and generate multiple scoring chances.

Arsenal now turn their focus to an away trip against Leicester City on Saturday, February 15, 2025. With Havertz in excellent form, he is expected to be a key figure in the contest. His ability to connect midfield and attack, as well as his eye for a decisive pass, will be essential as Arsenal looks to maintain their momentum.
