FanBants provides weekly rankings of the most in-form players in the English Premier League.
Here’s the updated rankings for Gameweek 12 of the EPL:
1. Erling Haaland
Two goals in his last three games means it’s business as usual for Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian striker now has 12 goals this season, and odds are, he’ll find the back of the net this weekend.
2. Bryan Mbuemo
Brentford have been one of the surprise packages of the season, and Bryan Mbuemo has been key to their good form.
The Cameroonian is joint-second in the goal scoring charts with 8 goals and he could add to his tally this weekend.
Mohamed Salah
Critics claim Mo Salah is slowing down, but the stats paint a completely different picture.
His 14 goal contributions, 8 goals & 6 assists, have powered Liverpool’s early title challenge, and although it’s still early in the season, odds are, that Salah will be firmly in the running for the Premier league Golden boot.
4. Yoane Wissa
If not for the consistent form shown by the three entries before this, Yoane Wissa could easily be anywhere in the top three for these power rankings.
The Congolese forward has come back from injury, to add another facet to an exciting Brentford attack.
In his last three games, Wissa has four goals. A man in dangerous form!
Nicolas Jackson
At the beginning of the season, critics singled out Chelsea’s Nico Jackson, as one of the players who needs to improve.
The Senegalese forward has taken the criticisms and advice on the chin, and is now admirably leading the line for Enzo Maresca's Chelsea.
While Cole Palmer gets all the accolades, Jackson is silently delivering the goods for the Blues.
In Chelsea's last 5 games, Jackson has recorded goals against Liverpool and Newcastle, and his performances against Arsenal and Manchester United were very admirable.
Jackson's current tally for the season stands at six goals and three assists, and there’s no doubt that he’ll be looking at the game against Leicester longingly.
Chris Wood
Five goals in his last five matches, and a player of the month award for October, are enough to tell you the kind of form Chris Wood currently is in.
The Kiwi forward scored an emphatic hat trick for his native New Zealand earlier in the week, and despite Arsenal having one of the meanest defences in Europe, Wood isn't a striker defenders should ignore.
7. Alexander Isak
Alex Isak is making a case for himself as one of the brightest prospects in the league.
The 25- year-old striker started the season with a slight injury that kept him out for the early weeks of the season, but he has bounced back brilliantly.
He's hit a purple patch in recent weeks, and has scored an impressive four goals in his last five matches, taking his tally for the season up to five in only nine games.
8. Harry Wilson
Harry Wilson is in an exciting purple patch at the moment.
The Welsh winger single handedly led the comeback against Brentford with two spectacular goals off the bench.
He’s since gone in to score two goals in three games for club and country since, and he looks to be enjoying his football at the moment.
Luis Diaz
Limited game time is on of the contributing factors to Luis Diaz’s drop in the rankings.
The Colombian is a very capable forward, as shown in the early weeks of the season.
However, the hot streak has seemingly dried up, with only an assist against Arsenal all Diaz has to show from the last three games.
Up against Southampton this weekend, Diaz could easily find himself back amongst the goals.
Danny Welbeck
The old dog who’s learning new tricks every day, Danny Welbeck’s career is currently in a very memorable twilight.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United forward is impressively leading the line for Fabian Hurzler's men, contributing six goals and two assists so far this season.
Although he drew a blank in Brighton's shock win over Manchester City, Welbeck's tireless running contributed a lot to the overall performance.
